Scientists have been studying the effect of sleep cycles (or circadian rhythm) on overall health and it’s effect on various biological processes in the body. Chronotherapy, or the use of timing to maximize treatment taking into account the body's natural rhythms and cycles has recently proven some interesting facts:
1) The body is the least sensitive to pain between 2:00- 3:00 PM. In fact, expert Albina Davletova says, “The best time to go to the dentist is between 2:00- 3:00 PM.”
2) Probiotics, and antihistamines work best if taken between 9:00- 10:00 PM.
3) Antibiotics and antidepressants are best absorbed and most efficient if taken at 7:00 PM.
